Client: Nexus Productions / Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles

Over the years - more by accicident than by choice (in the pursuit of my personal work)- I've become something of an expert in Computer Generated Hair & Fur....you only have to look at the DVD extra's on Hollywood blockbusters to see what a challenging task it is to create convincing Hair/Fur. Hair is inherently complex and we're all extremely familiar with seeing it, so when it's not done well - it stands out like a saw thumb! Hair has form - yet is also, to a degree, haphazard...if too uniform (computers are good at uniform) it is unconvincing! Hair requires maximum concentration both technically and creatively - which makes it a unique challenge...if you're not 100% focused...it's all too easy to have a bad hair day!
